Burger or Hamburger is savored as the most desired fast food meal in the United States. A hamburger is basically a sandwich prepared by stuffing ground meat patty, generally beef, between two slices of a bun cut in half. Hamburger is also famous for its seasoning. Most popular condiments used in hamburgers in the United States are mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup. Besides ground meat patty, hamburgers are also stuffed with lettuce, onions, tomato slices, pickles, and cheese.
Hamburgers are also categorized into two types in the United States. Fast food hamburger and individual hamburgers served at restaurants are two basic types of burgers served in the United States. The individual hamburgers served at restaurants are prepared using everything including lettuce, onion, tomato, and sliced pickles as well as melted cheese on the patty or crumbled on top. American restaurants also serve veggie burgers for those who don't relish meat. Cheeseburgers are also hot favorite in the United States.
McDonalds is the most popular fast food burger restaurant serving different types of burgers in the United States. On the other hand, there are several restaurants such as Burger King are famous for serving the best hamburgers in the United States. Not that good. If your drunk at 2am I'm sure its a fine dining experience. I witness how terrible they were when ordering on off hours. (notice how everyone mentions drunk with this place) If you're sober try one of the other 20 places in the immediate area that serve food.

Rumor has it, they only hire people named Buddy here. Yes, even the women. This place is banging needless to say. So good I went twice in the same day. The burgers are simply divine, not leaving you with that greasy nastiness you get with a lot of burgers. You can choose as many toppings as you want with no charge too. Try the Voodoo BBQ and get your damn mind blown.

As far as quick eats in downtown Dub-C you really can't beat Buddy's Burgers and Fries. Their burgers are made to order and totally customizable... any classic burger toppings that you could dream up are there and waiting for you. Plus they offer prices that are closer to fast food than sit down. It's basically West Chester's burger comeback to pita pit. How could you beat that? You can see the chefs flipping burgers as you wait in one half of a building that has jerseys on the wall and is a great place to watch whatever game happens to be on, but it does get pretty loud at night sometimes. I also laugh because there is a salads and wraps place connected, but it's always dark and abandoned. The irony is amazing I like bringing at least one "fry buddy" because their fry portions are made to share. Meaning that they're humongous. Small = basket. I would give buddy's burgers and fries a full five stars, but their burgers aren't the best in West Chester... just pretty damn close. CONCLUSION: tasty, customizable burgers. mountains of fries. and a good time for a quick bite with friends quality: good price: acceptable

Kiddos loves Buddy's. I always get her a Little Turkey Buddy, and she never knows the difference. They have great deals for each day of the week, too. I like their boardwalk-style fries, and they offer Malt vinegar too.

I've been enjoying this place since I heard about it last year. They have the best burgers in the West Chester area. The toppings are free, the voodoo BBQ sauce rocks, and the Cajun fries are awesome. I had my first turkey buddy with pepper-jack today and it was as good as the regular Buddy with cheese. I also like that you can get a burger or a salad and not have to leave the building. They have little competition since the Stadium grill is closed.
(5)Megan A.
Awesome burgers & fries!! Open LATE as well... but be prepared to deal with drunk people from the local bars after midnight. Unless you're one of those drunk people.
(4)Bob H.
Great burger, unlimited toppings including avacado, fresh cut fries and milk shakes, chicken sandwiches are really good also
(5)Ernie L.
These burgers are my savior when the hangover hits. And if you are a veggies guy like me, you will totally dig it. Their ingredients taste fresh (we are talking crunchy pickles) and the dudes behind the grill REALLY know how to make a burger. Buns always fresh too. Plus. The fries. Oh they're good. The best burger joint fries I think are Five Guys (the fries that bite you back!). And Buddy's is a very close second.

Poor, poor, poor, poor service. Yesterday was my second and last visit to Buddy's. I placed an order for pick up last night and was seriously disappointed. I ordered sweet potato fries and they switched my order to cajun fries without telling me. I found out when I got home. When I returned to the restaurant and voiced my frustration they told me that they were out of sweet potato and changed the order to cajun on my receipt. Apparently its not necessary to discuss changing an order with the person who placed the order. My wife was unable to eat the spicy cajun fries. On top of getting the wrong food, my fries were soggy and smushed under my burgers at the bottom of my takeout paper bag. The near $5.00 order of fries was also stuffed in a cracked foam cup. McDonalds anyone?!

Nothing in wc beats a Buddy's after a long night of trashing your liver. Deliciously greasy burgers all wrapped up for an animalistic nosh fest... I love how they 'keep it simple' in the wee hours by covering the in house menu in black plastic and forcing you into one of two(atleast I think it was two ) choices. One is the burger, the other is, what was the other one? Doesn't matter, you're here for burger! If you arrive sober in the middle of the day it may drop to three stars due to inattentive staff and inconsistent product. I highly recommend having 3 or 12 drinks prior to dinning.
(5)Julie Anna E.
Some of the best burgers in West Chester! great food, decent prices, but not a wide variety on the menu, mostly burgers, chicken sandwiches and chicken tenders, oh and fries! kid friendly, nice place
(4)Sam F.
Can't beat it for the price. Burger tasted like it was cooked in a backyard BBQ ... whatever toppings you want (I had avocado) are included, lots of fries come with the combo. Burgers (good burger), fries and a drink for two for $12.72. Can't beat that ...
(5)Josh K.
Most burger places generally don't usually stand out for me, but Buddy's was definitely memorable. Both their burgers and their fries were awesome, and that's not necessarily easy to achieve.
(4)Megan T.
Great place for a late night fast food burger and fries. Good sizes and decent prices. On fridays and saturdays around 1 there starts to be quite a line but they serve quickly.
(3)Joe B.
Great drunk burgers! We come here after partying at Kildare's and Ryans Pub pretty often. They are pretty good when your not drunk too. The place is really hopping around midnight and 2am and the service is great. If you don't mind waiting 10 minutes for your burger, you are in for a treat instead of going to a Mcdonalds.
(5)Alyssa S.
Not one, not two, but THREE hairs in my burger. Epic FAIL.
(1)Sara G.
Burgers and fries are good, and a lot less greasy than Five Guys. I'd still take Jake's over either.
(3)Dr Z.
DELICIOUS!! These burgers probably tie Five Guys when it comes to a great, juicy burger. Great selection of toppings as well. Other things to note are the thick pickles that are used. When do you EVER see that. AND the lettuce and tomato are always super fresh. And nice seeded bun. These are GREAT burgers! Fries are good too.
(5)Yemisi E.
Late night drunk food! I haven't eaten here during the day so I can only attest to their late night menu, but I absolutely loved the fast service and great burgers! If you're out late at night and craving some carbs; make a stop at Buddy's!
(4)Charlie J.
I love this place. Delicious and fresh made to order burgers and fries. I've eaten here a lot and so far the service has been great along with these two American classics. Their prices are very fair and they have good late night deals. Like Five Guys, they use peanut oil which is the best for fries. I think Buddy's is better overall though.
(5)John F.
Great place to get a nicely prepared and nicely priced piece of Americana. Great options on the menu as far as burgers with the option to add or replace anything. Order a regular size of fries as the larger is probably meant for 5 to 6 people. Also their shakes and pretty good and not a frozen piece of ice when you get then, made right their on the spot.
(5)Chris S.
Decent prices, great food, good service. You won't be disappointed.
(5)Tim C.
This is a great choice for a quick bite. The burgers are very good. The variety is astounding, not to mention an endless, array of free toppings. My favorite is the A - Bomb burger. It's super spicy with jalapeños, Sriracha sauce, and cheese. If you are feeling a bit like Man vs. Food, you can try The Enemy. It's 25 patties, cheese, bacon, large fries, and I can't even recall how many buns. Eat it in 30 minutes and it's free. The fries are, handcut, boardwalk style fries, and they even offer sweet potato fries. For the vegetarians, they recently added veggie burgers to their menu.

The food is excellent. Do not get me wrong, but during the weekend they need to hire some new staff or something. I ordered online, via grubhub to have delivered to where I was visiting in West Chester. As I was not in the best of health that evening. So we got it through grubhub... Grubhub sent me a text message that they could not get ahold of the store in regards to numerous orders and predicting a 9pm delivery time. It was 630- that was insane! So we called Grubhub to change it to pick up. They said they would get ahold of them quickly. Fifteen minutes later we are getting ready to just drive up there, park in town and get it. I tried calling but the phone kept ringing....and ringing..or a busy dial tone. I let the phone ring 20 times. I park up in town close to Buddy's fortunately.. Walk in..the restaurant is dead. I walk up explaining about the grubhub order. 'Uh ma'am we never got any grub hub orders heh heh' ...laughing at me. The fellow sounded stoned! Ok whatever, so I replace my order and get it in ten minutes time. The phone keeps ringing...and ringing...and ringing. I explain I tried to call them, the cashier just shrugged. Big ole WTF. I am never coming back here again on the weekends. Grubhub cancelled my order and gave me a nice voucher for other purchases. Explaining none of their orders placed were received and Buddy's ignored their calls. Lazy, lazy staff on weekends!

Was in West Chester and it was after 9 pm. So, just chose an open joint and went very safe with burger. I found the burger too salty to the point that I felt salt crystals as I ate. The bun was soggy and too soft. It did not hold up to the last bite of the burger. I did like the fact that they did not skimp on the lettuce and that it had a nice big tomato slice. I had the Cajun Burger but it was not "Cajuny" enough. They got my husband's order wrong. But we did not complain because he got what we paid for. My bad, I did not look at the check when I paid. He did not like the Lil Bacon Burger he got (esp since he wanted the Bacon Grilled Cheese Sandwich). The fries were just ok. I thought it was also soggy, but hubby liked it. The place was not full and almost all of the tables were not clean. Found a clean one, but it was sticky. For some reason, we both felt that the place was sticky. There were several TV's with 2 sports shows and both were not on mute. Price-Quality value is low. $16.00 for 2 burgers and fries with the above described food quality. Sorry, but would probably have been more satisfied with burgers and fries from Burger King with $16.00. BK was where we would have eaten, had we not been too lazy to turn the car around. This is actually the first time that our hurdle (3-4 yelp stars with mimimum 15 reviews) turned out to be a disappointing experience. Sorry, we are not giving this place a second chance. Yes, we do give places we rate low a second chance. Again, not giving second chances is rare for us.
(1)Rachael M.
Exceedingly disappointing. I went with my boyfriend looking for a solid burger when we were starving. The cashier was annoyed by our presence and the food wasn't very good. Wouldn't recommend or return. I
(2)Brent T.
Stopped in for lunch of a burger and fries. Lots of room and is connected to the BBQ next door which shares the drink machine. Similar to Five Guys in choosing single or double burger but at Buddy's you can choose the kind of cheese. I like that. Burger came on a sesame seeded bun with my toppings as ordered. They have good selection of toppings. The burger was not as flavorful as a Five Guys burger, decent but not great. The fries were hand cut string fries and were good but again not as good as Five Guys. Cost is about the same as Five Guys but they are not in West Chester so Buddy's is a good alternative.
(3)Tom L.
Conveniently located right next to Iron Hill. Lot of tables w/ one flat screen and a 27" or so closer to the order desk. Had a Bacon Buddy burger w/ lettuce, tomato and onion. Not asked how to prepare and it was fully cooked, but super juicy. Kiddo had a Grilled Cheese and fries (w/ soda for $4.99 or so). It looked like cheese between two pancakes.....she loved it. You can buy it separately for $2 (next time I will skip the fries and soda for that price). Friendly enough service. Our order was ready in 5 minutes and we were in and out in 20 minutes on a Saturday at 4:30pm. If you want a burger, this place will be well received. Pricing very reasonable.

I have ordered from Buddy's several times. The first time I had Buddy's was several months ago and I thought the Turkey Burgers were really good. However, the last two times we have ordered from Buddy's, the food and service was not good. The second time, I got a chicken sandwich and it was soggy. Decided to order from them since they are in town and the food was worst. I have several orders. Two of the burgers were made completely wrong. The Chicken fingers were burnt. Called to complain and they told us that's how the chicken is suppose to look, dark/black. But it tasted burnt! The one burger was made with cheese and we did not order any cheese on it and my friend could not eat cheese and she didn't even eat it. We asked for our money back since neither girl ate the burnt chicken or wrong burger. The would not refund us our money. Not satisfied!!!!
